There are plenty of Clubsport Basic events you can enter that don’t require a competition licence (but you do need to be a paid up Manawatu Car Club member, except those entering theitr first or second event).These events are:
Single Car Sprints- Sealed Circuit Course. Cars released 5 sec or more apart
Autocross- Sealed or Unsealed Surface
Motorkhana- Sealed or Unsealed Surface
Driver Coaching
Trials
Solo Drift
Standing Sprint- 400m Standing Start
Required if you intend to compete in next level Car Club run events such as:
Dual Car Sprints- Paired Cars Sealed Circuit Sprint
Multi-Car Sprints- Up to two 6-Car Grids
Bent Sprints- Sealed or Gravel Road Course
Hill climbs- Sealed or Gravel Road Course
Rallysprints- Sealed or Gravel Road Course
Drift Battle
Team Drift- Tandems
Required if you intend to compete in local, regional or national circuit race events on established tarmac tracks. Locally this licence is required if you would like to enter and compete in any of the following meetings by the Manawatu Car Club:
Summer Series (all classes)
Winter Series (all classes
