This page gives full information on the Transpec GT OIL Track Day Out. These events are MSNZ permitted ClubSport Basic event.
The refreshed format to the Transpec GT Oil Events is aimed to provide more bang for your buck, a heap of seat time, but also offer an introductory and entry level event for new and junior drivers to learn how to drive Manfeild: Circuit Chris Amon.
Road cars welcome. Race cars, rally cars, BOS cars too.Learn some skills, learn your car, learn the circuit, set a lap time, then set a better one.

- 15-minute OR 6 lap sessions
- 4x groups based on lap times
- Live timing available via Speedhive

NOTE: PROTECTIVE CLOTHING REQUIREMENTSThe MINIMUM standard for Clubsport Basic is 100% cotton overalls and 100% wool underwear, 100% cotton or 100% wool calf-length socks, leather shoes.See Appendix 2 Schedule A 4. for detailed information HERE
TIMING: You are welcome to use your own method of timing or you have the option to hire a club transponder on your entry form.
Classes
We run the following classes in this event, to separate different power and capability levels of vehicles: (your estimated lap time is selected on your event entry form to collate groups)
(Group 1) – Saloons faster than 1:20:00:
(Group 2) – Saloons between 1:20.00 and 1:25.00
(Group 3) Saloons between 1:25.00 and 1:30.00
(Group 4) – Saloons slower than 1:30:00:
Group 4 also caters to new/junior drivers. Speed limited to 100km/h*

Vehicle Safety Requirements
Vehicles must comply with Motorsport NZ Schedule A Safety
Road cars are welcome but must have a current WOF and registration.
